about us

Poetry in Pollen is a women-founded floristry studio and regenerative flower farm based in Canberra, creating sculptural floral installations that are sustainable, seasonal, and deeply rooted in collaboration—with nature, local community, and fellow growers.

We specialise in floristry and farming practices that offer more than just visual beauty. Our installations are crafted to create a rich, immersive sensory experience. Each piece is thoughtfully shaped by its setting, purpose, and function, using flowers we either grow ourselves or source from trusted local growers.

A cornerstone of our practice is our collaboration with Majura Valley Market Garden, where we source a variety of unique organic vegetables grown using regenerative principles. These vibrant, edible elements—along with herbs and flowers—are often harvested from an integrated co-planting system on our farm that nurtures biodiversity, supports pollinators, and builds healthy soil.

Our floral installations often include these unconventional, seasonal ingredients, which can be used in the kitchen after their visual role is complete—extending the life, purpose, and experience of our work beyond the arrangement itself.

We also partner with local artists—ceramicists, glassblowers, and more—to incorporate handmade vessels and materials into our work. These collaborations reflect our belief in supporting local, independent makers and bring additional depth and meaning to each project.

Our mission is simple: to create work that’s rooted in place, led by the seasons, and designed to connect—people to land, art to agriculture, and floristry to the full sensory experience it can be, proving that we really are all interconnected.
